Accelecom, a tech startup, approached Sage Marketing after struggling with previous marketing and PR firms that failed to deliver results. They faced challenges with community resonance, brand clarity, and overall marketing direction. They also needed our support as their grew their company within Kentucky, but also with their acquisition of Georgia Public Web.

To reposition Accelecom for success, we implemented a comprehensive branding and marketing strategy that included:

  • Brand Strategy & Positioning – Conducted in-depth strategy sessions to refine customer profiles, messaging, and brand identity (including a new logo), ensuring their new positioning aligned with industry and market needs.
  • Website & Digital Optimization – Performed a website and advertising audit, leading to the creation of a new website designed to support their sales team and improve lead generation.
  • Acquisition Support – Provided marketing, branding, and sales enablement strategies to strengthen their expansion into Georgia’s telecommunications market.
  • Advocacy & PR – Worked closely with local press, local legislators, and industry stakeholders, crafting targeted PR and advertising campaigns to elevate brand awareness and credibility.
  • Creative & Design – Developed compelling visual assets to reinforce Accelecom’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across digital platforms, sales materials, and advertising.

Project Results

Sage Marketing played a pivotal role in transitioning Accelecom’s brand into the Georgia market, ensuring their expansion resonated with new audiences while maintaining credibility in the competitive telecommunications space. We revamped their website to establish brand authority, creating a platform that effectively showcased their expertise and supported their sales efforts.

To elevate their industry presence, we updated conference materials, ensuring their sales and leadership teams had compelling assets for key events. Our strategic PR campaigns reached millions, driving visibility and reinforcing Accelecom’s position as a new leader in fiber connectivity.

Beyond traditional marketing, we implemented a social selling strategy, equipping the sales team with relevant content to engage prospects effectively. We also established their Google Business listing and key social media platforms, ensuring a strong digital footprint.

Recognizing the need for a structured sales approach, our CEO worked closely with Accelecom’s team, bringing in Alex Gafford, VP of Sales at Blue Street Capital, to train them on social selling, sales tactics, and Salesforce best practices.

Additionally, while a previous marketing firm claimed that KentuckyProud membership was impossible, we secured their approval in just five minutes, reinforcing their brand’s deep roots as a network built by Kentucky, for Kentucky.

As Accelecom grew, we helped fill critical marketing gaps, providing on-site marketing professionals to support their evolving needs and long-term success.
