The Conundrum

Ananda Hemp came to Sage Marketing at a pivotal moment as they prepared to expand their visibility and presence ahead of going public. While the brand had strong products and internal expertise, they lacked a clear content strategy, consistent digital presence, and cohesive approach to telling their story — both locally and nationally.

They needed to strengthen their connection with the local community around their headquarters in Georgetown, Kentucky, while also positioning themselves for broader national awareness. At the same time, their online presence — particularly content, SEO, and social media — was underdeveloped, limiting discoverability and engagement.

Ananda Hemp was also looking for a marketing partner with a unique dual-market perspective: someone deeply familiar with the Kentucky market who could also operate seamlessly in California alongside their administrative team.
