Golden Lab Technologies operates at the intersection of IT, infrastructure, and innovation—designing custom, U.S.-made solar-powered mobile trailers while also serving as an MSP and IT partner for organizations ranging from small businesses to enterprise-level clients.

Despite the sophistication of their offering, Golden Lab’s brand didn’t reflect the scale or seriousness of their work. Their existing identity relied on a Canva-built logo and lacked the clarity, cohesion, and authority needed to compete in national IT, disaster recovery, and infrastructure markets.

The Conundrum

Golden Lab needed to elevate their brand to match the complexity and impact of their solutions. They lacked a clear visual identity, consistent messaging, and defined market positioning, making it difficult to communicate credibility across diverse audiences. In addition, they needed greater visibility and strategic leadership to support long-term growth and national partnerships.

A Sage Approach

Sage began by grounding the work in strategy — clarifying Golden Lab’s positioning, defining their target markets, and identifying the narratives that would resonate across IT, MSP, and mobile infrastructure audiences. From there, we led a full rebrand, evolving Golden Lab from a Canva-based logo into a professionally designed visual identity built with intention, scalability, and longevity in mind. Brand messaging was refined to clearly communicate innovation, reliability, and technical expertise while remaining accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Beyond the brand foundation, Sage launched a national public relations campaign to increase visibility, strengthen credibility, and support long-term SEO growth. To ensure momentum continued beyond launch, Golden Lab partnered with Sage through a CMO retainer, providing ongoing strategic leadership across social media, public relations, marketing planning, and business strategy. This integrated approach allowed Golden Lab to move with clarity, consistency, and confidence across every touchpoint.

Results

The rebrand positioned Golden Lab as a credible, innovative leader in both IT services and mobile infrastructure. The public relations campaign reached a global audience of over 172 MILLION with pick-ups on channels like CBS, C-SPAN, NY Times, AP, FOX, Yahoo!, and more! This campaign significantly increased their brand awareness and supported SEO performance which is crucial for a new website fighting for space online.

This visibility even contributed to securing a new contract with the Information Technology Disaster Resource Center (ITDRC) where they will be providing their mobile, solar-powered trailers to communities struck by national disasters for communications/Wi-Fi, security, lighting and more.

With continued CMO-led support, Golden Lab has gained consistency in messaging, stronger market positioning, and a strategic partner invested in their long-term growth. This retainer includes a monthly strategy session where we work to achieve their monthly, quarterly, and yearly growth goals.
